This is the second part of Glidecam 4000 set up tutorial (don’t bother watching the first one). The camera they use is a Canon DSLR with a large lense and large battery, so don’t use it as a guide for setting up the T3i, use this video as basic guidelines.

This second video demonstrates a very well balanced Glidecam (the smaller version) but doesn’t give much in the way of a tutorial, just handy tips.

Remember: the Glidecam is a precision instrument that requires very delicate adjustments to a SINGLE camera to work properly. This makes use in a multiuser environment very difficult. However, rest assured that even if you can’t get the thing balanced perfectly, you will see an improvement in your images if you handle it properly.
